जम्मू-कश्मीर के शोपियां जिले के शुकरू केलर इलाके में मंगलवार सुबह सुरक्षाबलों और आतंकियों के बीच मुठभेड़ शुरू हो गई. सुरक्षा एजेंसियों को मिली पक्की सूचना के आधार पर इलाके में सर्च ऑपरेशन चलाया गया था.
Shopian Encounter: जम्मू-कश्मीर के शोपियां जिले के शुकरू केलर इलाके में मंगलवार सुबह सुरक्षाबलों और आतंकियों के बीच मुठभेड़ शुरू हो गई. सुरक्षा एजेंसियों को मिली पक्की सूचना के आधार पर इलाके में सर्च ऑपरेशन चलाया गया था. इसी दौरान छिपे हुए आतंकियों ने फायरिंग शुरू कर दी, जिसके बाद मुठभेड़ शुरू हो गई. बताया जा रहा है कि इलाके को चारों तरफ से घेर लिया गया है और स्थानीय लोगों को सुरक्षित स्थानों पर पहुंचा दिया गया है. फिलहाल गोलीबारी जारी है और सुरक्षाबल हर एंगल से जवाबी कार्रवाई कर रहे हैं.
सुरक्षा एजेंसियों को शक है कि इलाके में दो से तीन आतंकी छिपे हो सकते हैं. इस ऑपरेशन में सेना, पुलिस और CRPF की संयुक्त टीम लगी हुई है. मुठभेड़ को लेकर वरिष्ठ अधिकारी भी मौके पर पहुंच गए हैं.
