Jupiter Images: बृहस्पति गृह पर आया ऐसा रंगीन तूफान, जो पहले किसी ने नहीं देखा, नासा ने जारी की शानदार तस्वीरें
हम इसके अरोराओं को उत्तरी और दक्षिणी ध्रुवों के ऊपर उच्च ऊंचाई तक फैले हुए देख सकते हैं. और ध्रुवों के चारों ओर घूमते धुंध भी दिखाई दे रहे हैं.
वॉशिंगटन : ऐसा पहली बार हुआ है, जब नासा (NASA) के जेम्स वेब स्पेस टेलीस्कोप (James Webb Space Telescope-JWST) ने बृहस्पति ग्रह (Jupiter) की अद्भुत तस्वीर को कैद किया है. रहस्यों से भरे इस ग्रह की तस्वीर में उत्तरी और दक्षिणी ध्रुवों पर दो छोटे चंद्रमा, फीके छल्ले और रंगीन अरोरा दिखाई दे रहे हैं. यह वास्तव में अद्भुत है कि हम एक ही तस्वीर में बृहस्पति पर उसके छल्ले, छोटे उपग्रहों और यहां तक की साथ में गैलेक्सी को भी देख सकते हैं.
बृहस्पति का ग्रेट रेड स्पॉट सौर मंडल का सबसे बड़ा तूफान है, जिसकी चौड़ाई लगभग 10,160 मील है. यह पृथ्वी के व्यास का लगभग 1.3 गुना है. लगभग 268mph पर चक्रवात के शिखर के किनारे पर हवाएं चल रही हैं, जो पृथ्वी की उच्चतम हवा की गति (253mph) से तेज़ हैं. हम इसके अरोराओं को उत्तरी और दक्षिणी ध्रुवों के ऊपर उच्च ऊंचाई तक फैले हुए देख सकते हैं. और ध्रुवों के चारों ओर घूमते धुंध भी दिखाई दे रहे हैं.
Aurorae form when charged particles are caught by and accelerated along the planet’s magnetic field. They spiral toward the magnetic poles where they react with molecules in the atmosphere, causing them to glow.
