'दंगल' (Dangal) और 'सीक्रेट सुपरस्टार' (Secret Superstar) जैसी फिल्मों से अपना नाम कमाने वाली अभिनेत्री जायरा वसीम (Zaira Wasim) ने आज अपने ऑफिशियल सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट से घोषणा करते हुए कहा कि वो फिल्म इंडस्ट्री छोड़ रही हैं. जायरा ने इस विषय पर विस्तार में अपनी बात रखते हुए एक पोस्ट शेयर किया था. इसमें उन्होंने अपने धर्म के प्रति समर्पण की भावना व्यक्त करते हुए फिल्म इंडस्ट्री से संन्यास लेने की बात कही.
जायरा ने कहा था कि मनोरंजन जगत में उन्हें काफी प्रेम और सम्मान मिला. लेकिन उनकी असली छवि ये नहीं है और वो अपनी रियल पर्सनालिटी में जीना चाहती हैं. जायरा ने कहा कि इस इंडस्ट्री में रहकर ईमान और अल्लाह (Allah) के साथ उनके संबंध कमजोर होते चले गए हैं. ऐसे में वो पवित्र कुरआन का पाठ करके धर्म के रास्ते पर चलना चाहती हैं.

जायरा के फैसले के बाद सोशल मीडिया पर लोग दो गुटों में बंट गए हैं. एक तरफ जहां कुछ लोग जायरा के इस फैसला का स्वागत करते हुए उनकी सराहना कर रहे हैं.

जाहिर सी बात है कि कहीं न कहीं जायरा के इस फैसले से उनके फैंस दुखी हैं और उन्हें खूब मिस भी करेंगे. बताते चलें कि जायरा जल्द ही फरहान अख्तर और प्रियंका चोपड़ा के सतह फिल्म 'द स्काई इज पिंक' (The Sky is Pink) में नजर आएंगी. इस फिल्म की शूटिंग भी पूरी की जा चुकी है और ये फिल्म इस अक्टूबर में रिलीज हो रही है.
