Karnataka Muslim Reservation: मुस्लिम आरक्षण को लेकर घमासान, राज्य सरकार ने विरोधियों को दिया जवाब

कर्नाटक राज्य ने मुसलमानों के लिए 4 फीसदी आरक्षण (Muslim Reservation) खत्म करने का बचाव करते हुए कहा कि आरक्षण धर्म के आधार पर नहीं हो सकता. राज्य का कहना है कि सिर्फ इसलिए कि निर्णय चुनाव से पहले था, समय आदि को इंगित नहीं किया जा सकता जब तक कि याचिकाकर्ता यह नहीं दिखा सकते कि आरक्षण संवैधानिक और अनुमेय था.

इस बीच सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कर्नाटक में मुस्लिम आरक्षण खत्म करने के फैसले पर 9 मई तक रोक लगा दी है. राज्य की बीजेपी सरकार ने चुनाव से ठीक पहले मुसलमानों को मिल रहे 4 फीसदी आरक्षण को खत्म कर दिया था. सुप्रीम कोर्ट में राज्य सरकार के फैसले को चुनौती दी गई थी. इस पर कोर्ट ने सुनवाई की अगली तारीख 9 मई तय कर दी. कर्नाटक में 10 मई को विधानसभा चुनाव होने हैं. बता दें कि कर्नाटक में 10 मई को विधानसभा चुनाव होने हैं.
