केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने क्रिप्टोकरेंसी बिल को लेकर आज राज्यसभा में कहा कि यह एक जोखिम भरा क्षेत्र है और पूर्ण नियामक ढांचे में नहीं है. इसके विज्ञापनों पर प्रतिबंध लगाने पर अभी कोई फैसला नहीं लिया गया. हालांकि आरबीआई और सेबी के माध्यम से जागरूकता पैदा करने के लिए कदम उठाए गए हैं. सरकार जल्द ही एक विधेयक पेश करेगी.
राज्यसभा में प्रश्नकाल के दौरान क्रिप्टोकरेंसी पर केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने कहा कि यह एक जोखिम भरा क्षेत्र है और पूर्ण नियामक ढांचे में नहीं है. इसके विज्ञापनों पर प्रतिबंध लगाने पर अभी कोई फैसला नहीं लिया गया. हालांकि आरबीआई और सेबी के माध्यम से जागरूकता पैदा करने के लिए कदम उठाए गए हैं. सरकार जल्द ही एक विधेयक पेश करेगी. इससे पहले सरकार ने सोमवार को लोकसभा को बताया कि भारत में क्रिप्टोकरेंसी अनियंत्रित है और वह इसके व्यापार के बारे में जानकारी एकत्र नहीं करती है.
