Congress President Election Result: मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे बने कांग्रेस के नए अध्यक्ष, थरूर ने जीत को लेकर दी बधाई
मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे कांग्रेस के नए अध्यक्ष चुने गए हैं. 17 अक्टूबर को डाले गए वोट के बाद आज वोटों की गिनती हुई. वोटों की गिनती में मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे को जीत मिली है. वहीं कांग्रेस नेता शशि थरूर असफल रहे.
Congress President Election Result: मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे कांग्रेस के नए अध्यक्ष चुने गए हैं. 17 अक्टूबर को डाले गए वोट के बाद आज वोटों की गिनती हुई. वोटों की गिनती में मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे को जीत मिली है. वहीं कांग्रेस नेता शशि थरूर असफल रहे. शशि थरूर को चुनाव में भले ही जीत नहीं सके. लेकिन खरगे के चुनाव जीतने के कुछ ही समय बाद ट्वीट कर बधाई दी.
कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष पद के चुनाव में खरगे की जीत के बाद करीब 24 साल बाद कांग्रेस को पहला गैर गांधी कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मिल है. 80 साल के खरगे ने शशि थरूर को बड़े अंतर से अध्यक्ष चुनाव में पराजित किया है. हालांकि चुनाव से पहले ही माना जा रहा था कि खरगे आसानी से चुनाव जीत जाएंगे. क्योंकि खरगे को गांधी परिवार का पूरा साथ था. अध्यक्ष पद के चुनाव में खरगे को 7, 897 वोट मिले. जबकि थरूर को महज 1,072 वोट ही मिले. 416 वोट अमान्य करार दिए गए. अध्यक्ष पद के लिए कुल 9,385 वोट पड़े थे.
