Food poisoning in Assam: असम में फूड प्वाइजनिंग, प्रसाद खाने के बाद करीब 18 लोग बीमार

असम: माजुली जिले के गरमूर के पास महरीचुक इलाके में कल रात एक धार्मिक समारोह में प्रसाद खाने के बाद कथित तौर पर कम से कम 18 लोग बीमार पड़ गए. उपायुक्त पुलक महंत ने एएनआई को बताया, "उन्हें तुरंत अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया और वे अब स्थिर हैं."
जिला अस्पताल के अधीक्षक डॉ अमूल्य गोस्वामी कहते हैं, "पिछली रात 12 लोग पेट दर्द और उल्टी की शिकायत के बाद यहां आए थे. आज सुबह छह और लोगों को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया. उनकी हालत अब स्थिर है."
"Last night 12 people came here after they complained of stomach ache & vomiting. Today morning,six more people were admitted to the hospital. Their condition is now stable. We suspect that it is a case of food poisoning,” says Dr Amulya Goswami, Superintendent, District hospital
