वीरेंद्र सहवाग, इरफान पठान और अन्य भारतीय क्रिकेटरों ने पहलगाम आतंकी हमले के पीड़ितों के लिए प्रार्थना की, आतंकवाद की निंदा की

कश्मीर के पहलगाम में 22 अप्रैल को एक दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण घटना घटी. जिसमें 26 पर्यटक आतंकवादी हमले में मारे गए. इस घटना ने पूरे देश को झकझोर कर रख दिया और वे अभी तक इससे उबर नहीं पाए हैं. इस बीच पूर्व भारतीय क्रिकेटर वीरेंद्र सहवाग, इरफान पठान, आकाश चोपड़ा और बीसीसीआई उपाध्यक्ष राजीव शुक्ला जैसे क्रिकेट बिरादरी के सदस्यों ने भी मृतकों के लिए प्रार्थना की है और आतंकवाद की आलोचना की है. वीरेंद्र सहवाग ने एक्स पर लिखा,"पहलगाम में निर्दोष पर्यटकों पर हुए निंदनीय आतंकवादी हमले की खबर सुनकर बहुत दुख हुआ. मेरी संवेदना उन लोगों के साथ है जिन्होंने अपने प्रियजनों को खो दिया है. घायलों के लिए प्रार्थना करता हूँ."

वहीं इरफ़ान पठान ने कहा,"हर बार जब कोई मासूम अपनी जान गँवाता है, तो इंसानियत हार जाती है. आज कश्मीर में जो कुछ हुआ. उसे देखना और सुनना दिल दहला देने वाला है. मैं कुछ दिन पहले ही वहाँ गया था - यह दर्द बहुत करीब लगता है"

आकाश चोपड़ा ने लिखा,"पहलगाम में अकल्पनीय अत्याचार. पीड़ितों और उनके परिवारों के प्रति संवेदना. ॐ शांति। आशा है कि अपराधियों (और उनके समर्थकों) की पहचान की जाएगी, उन्हें पकड़ा जाएगा और उन्हें वह सजा दी जाएगी जिसके वे हकदार हैं."

राजीव शुक्ला ने कहा,"जम्मू-कश्मीर के पहलगाम में निर्दोष पर्यटकों पर आतंकवादी हमला एक कायरतापूर्ण कृत्य है और यह आतंकवाद द्वारा शांति और मानवता के लिए उत्पन्न खतरे की एक कठोर याद दिलाता है. इस तरह के जघन्य कृत्य अत्यंत निंदनीय हैं. मेरी संवेदनाएं और प्रार्थनाएं पीड़ितों और उनके परिवारों के साथ हैं."
