One Nation-One Election Committee: मोदी सरकार ने 'वन नेशन, वन इलेक्शन' लागू करना चाहती है. लॉ मिनिस्ट्री ने पूर्व राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद की अध्यक्षता में कमेटी गठित कर दी है. कमेटी के सदस्यों का ऐलान कर दिया गया है. इसमें अमित शाह, अधीर रंजन चौधरी, गुलाम नबी आज़ाद, एनके सिंह, सुभाष कश्यप, हरीश साल्वे और संजय कोठारी शामिल हैं.

एक राष्ट्र, एक चुनाव' पर केंद्रीय संसदीय कार्य मंत्री प्रह्लाद जोशी ने कहा, 'अभी एक समिति का गठन किया गया है. समिति की एक रिपोर्ट आएगी जिस पर चर्चा होगी. संसद परिपक्व है और वहां चर्चा होगी. घबराने की जरूरत नहीं है... भारत को लोकतंत्र की जननी कहा जाता है, यहां विकास हुआ है...मैं संसद के विशेष सत्र के एजेंडे पर चर्चा करूंगा.'
