Remote Voting In India: ECI की पहल, अब शहर बदलने पर भी अपने क्षेत्र के उम्मीदवार को डाल सकेंगे वोट

भारत के चुनाव आयोग ने रिमोट वोटिंग पर अवधारणा नोट जारी किया है. EC ने इसे लागू करने में कानूनी और प्रशासनिक चुनौतियों पर पार्टियों के विचार मांगे है. रिमोट वोटिंग पर मुहर लगती है तो दूसरे राज्यों और शहरों में रहने वालों लोगों को इससे बड़ा लाभ होगा. अपने क्षेत्र से दूर रहने के बावजूद आप वहां के चुनाव में अपना वोट दे पाएंगे.

अच्छी बात ये है कि वोट देने के लिए अब आपको अपने क्षेत्र में जाने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी. जो जहां रह रहे हैं, वहीं से वोट दे सकते हैं. बाहरी राज्यों में रह रहे छात्र और प्रवासी मजदूरों भी इलेक्टोरल प्रोसेस का हिस्सा होंगे. मतदान निकाय जल्द ही सर्वदलीय बैठक बुलाने के लिए तैयार है.
