कोरोनावायरस महामारी के बीच लेखक गौतम हेगड़े (Gautam Hegde) का जन्मदिन मनाने के लिए शनाया ईरानी (Sanaya Irani), करन वाही (Karan Wahi), मोहित सहगल (Mohit Sehgal), रिद्धि डोगरा (Ridhi Dogra) और आशा नेगी (Asha Negi) जैसे टेलीविजन के सितारे एक साथ शामिल हुए. मोहित और शनाया ने सोशल मीडिया पर इसकी कुछ तस्वीरें भी साझा की हैं, जिसमें उन्हें घर पर मास्क लगाए पार्टी करते हुए देखा जा सकता है. नमन शॉ, बरुन सोबती, मियांग चेंग और अक्षय डोगरा भी इस पार्टी में मौजूद रहे.

“Khush toh bohot hogey tum?”, is a rhetorical question anyone could ask me about yesterday! . . Anyone who knows me, would know how big a deal birthdays are for me! . . Sometimes I wish they came twice a year! But this year, given the whole quarantine & social distancing I just didn’t know how it would pan out. So I didnt plan anything per se & just played it by the ear! And boy, was it the one of the best birthdays I had! . . 1) Started off with ushering in the birthday with friends and family . . 2) So blessed to have Aai and Pappa around! . . 3) My friends- Barun, Pashmeen, Akshay Sakshi, Naman, Nehaa, Karan, Uditi, Mohit, Sanaya, Asha, Ridhi & Chang stuck to the mask norm and the guidelines given as they came home to cut the cake! After the groupfie, Sanaya quipped, “I don’t believe we were all still smiling behind the masks!” Haha! . . 4) Simran baked me a cake a couple of days ago & celebrated early because she couldnt make it on 19th, . . 5) Naman cooked delicious Kofta Curry for me, from scratch, . . 6) This yummy cake was sent from Mohit and Addite because they couldn’t come to usher in, . . 7) Zoom Call party with my girl gang- Janaki, Shivani, Nikita & Mukta! With guest appearances from Milind and Aseem! . . 8) Zoom call party with more friends- Lata, Abhaas, Daljiet, Zeenia- who couldn’t be there for ushering in! . . 9) Video calls with Simran, then Vishal, my sweet old pal from Pune, Rubina and Abhinav, who are out of Mumbai, and Nikita, my soul sister! . . 10) Getting this sketch of mine made by Mohit Malik! He says its not accurate and too chiselled but guess what I can always work out to look like that! And more than anything else, its the love and effort that has gone into it that has touched me! . . And the love and effort thay everyone took to cook, bake, connect, remember and wish and remind me, that I am loved. Also, zero expectations worked so much, because whatever joy came my way, brought a smile on my face! Thank you all of you! Much love!
