Sanatan Dharma Remark Row: तमिलनाडु के मंत्री उदयनिधि स्टालिन ने सोमवार (18 सितंबर) को फिर से सनातन धर्म को लेकर विवादित बयान दिया. स्टालिन तमिलनाडु के राज्यपाल आरएन रवि के बयान पर पलटवार कर रहे थे. राज्यपाल ने एक कार्यक्रम में कहा था कि राज्य में जाति आधारित भेदभाव बहुत है. सनातन को खत्म करने की जरूरत नहीं है, क्योंकि यहां जन्म के आधार पर सब बराबर हैं.

जिसके जवाब में स्टालिन ने कहा, 'जातिगत भेदभाव के कारण वह सनातन धर्म को खत्म करने की बात करते हैं. सनातन धर्म को खत्म करना ही होगा. हम भी जातिगत आधार पर भेदभाव खत्म करने की बात करते हैं. राज्यपाल भी वही कह रहे हैं. हमारा मानना है कि जन्म के आधार पर जाति खत्म होनी चाहिए. जहां भी जाति के आधार पर भेदभाव होता है मैं उस भेदभाव को खत्म करना चाहता हूं.'

स्टालिन ने कहा कि 'DMK का गठन सनातन धर्म को खत्म करने के लिए किया गया है और हम ऐसा होने तक नहीं रुकेंगे.'
