Former PM Rajiv Gandhi Birth Anniversary: कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी ने पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री राजीव गांधी की जयंती पर वीर भूमि पर पुष्पांजलि अर्पित की. इस मौके पर उनके साथ कई कांग्रेसी नेता मौजूद रहे. बता दें, राजीव गांधी ने 1984 में अपनी मां, प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी की हत्या के बाद कांग्रेस पार्टी का नेतृत्व संभाला था. वे अक्टूबर 1984 में 40 वर्ष की आयु में भारत के सबसे युवा प्रधानमंत्री बने और 2 दिसंबर 1989 तक इस पद पर रहे. 20 अगस्त 1944 को जन्मे राजीव गांधी की 21 मई 1991 को तमिलनाडु के श्रीपेरंबदूर में एक चुनावी रैली के दौरान लिबरेशन टाइगर्स ऑफ तमिल ईलम (LTTE) के एक सदस्य ने उनकी हत्या कर दी थी.
