Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on MCD Bill: केंद्र सरकार दिल्ली के तीनों नगर निकायों के एकीकरण का विधेयक पेश करने को तैयार है. हाल ही में केंद्रीय कैबिनेट की बैठक में भी दिल्ली नगर निगम के एकीकरण (MCD Bill) पर मुहर लग गई है. एमसीडी (MCD) में सीटों की संख्या को घटाकर 250 वॉर्डों तक सीमित किया जा सकता है, जो वर्तमान में 272 वार्ड हैं. चुनाव में हो रही देरी की वजह से दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा "एमसीडी बिल (केंद्र द्वारा) स्टाल (एमसीडी) चुनावों में लाया जा रहा है. हम इसका अध्ययन करेंगे और जरूरत पड़ने पर कोर्ट में चुनौती देंगे. वार्डों की संख्या 272 से घटाकर 250 करने का अर्थ है परिसीमन, जिसका अर्थ है कोई चुनाव नहीं. विधेयक एमसीडी को केंद्र के नियंत्रण में लाता है.
