Kerala First Transgender Lawyer: वकालत के क्षेत्र में अब ट्रांसजेंडर कदम रखना शुरू कर दी. ट्रांसजेंडर पद्मा लक्ष्मी केरल की पहला वकील बनी है. पद्मा ने रविवार 19 मार्च को कोर्ट में प्रैक्टिस करने के लिए बार काउंसिल में अपना इनरोल्मेंट कराया. बार काउंसिल में इनरोल्मेंट कराने के बाद पद्मा लक्ष्मी को प्रैक्टिस करने के लिए रविवार को ही नामांकन प्रमाण पत्र सौंपा गया. बताना चाहेंगे कि देश में सबसे पहले तमिलनाडु कके रहने वाले सत्य श्री शर्मिला पहला ट्रांसजेंडर वकील बनी,
