पाकिस्तान के पत्रकार व टीवी एंकर अर्शद शरीफ की केन्या की राजधानी नैरोबी में गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई है.
पाकिस्तान के पत्रकार व टीवी एंकर अर्शद शरीफ की केन्या की राजधानी नैरोबी में गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई है. वारदात के बाद अरशद की पत्नी जावेरिया सिद्दीक ने कहा कि "मैंने आज अपने दोस्त, पति और अपने पसंदीदा पत्रकार को खो दिया, पुलिस के अनुसार उन्हें केन्या में गोली मारी गई है." राष्ट्रपति आरिफ अल्वी ने शरीफ के निधन को पत्रकारिता और पाकिस्तान के लिए क्षति करार दिया है.
डॉन न्यूज की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, पत्रकार कामरान खान और शाहबाज राणा ने शरीफ की हत्या की जांच की मांग की है. वहीं पीटीआई के महासचिव असद उमर और सीनेटर आजम स्वाति ने कहा कि पत्रकार की मौत की खबर से वे स्तब्ध और आहत हैं.
