पर्सनल डेटा प्रोटेक्शन विधेयक के तहत प्रत्येक डेटा उल्लंघन के लिए डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म्स पर 250 करोड़ रुपये तक का जुर्माना लगाया जाएगा.
केंद्र सरकार पर्सनल डेटा प्रोटेक्शन विधेयक, 2023 लेकर आई है. भारत में सभी ऑनलाइन और ऑफलाइन डेटा इसके कानूनी डोमेन के अंतर्गत आएंगे. इस विधेयक के तहत प्रत्येक डेटा उल्लंघन के लिए डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म्स पर 250 करोड़ रुपये तक का जुर्माना लगाया जाएगा. आईटी मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने लोकसभा में कहा, यह विधेयक वैश्विक स्तर पर भारतीय नागरिकों के डेटा की सुरक्षा के लिए है.
