Bishan Singh Bedi Dies: 23 अक्टूबर(सोमवार) को भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व कप्तान और एक प्रसिद्ध बाएं हाथ के ऑर्थोडॉक्स स्पिनर पूर्व क्रिकेटर बिशन सिंह बेदी ने  77 वर्ष की आयु में अंतिम सांस ली, वह ICC के हॉल ऑफ फेम का भी हिस्सा थे. विशन सिंह वेदी ने भारत के लिए 22 टेस्ट में कपतनी भी की थी.  उन्होंने 1966 से लेकर 1979 भारतीय टीम के लिए खेले थे. उनके मृत्यु पर गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने शोक जताया है. उन्होंने ट्वीट करके लिखा कि महान स्पिनर और भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व कप्तान बिशन सिंह बेदी जी के निधन से गहरा दुख हुआ है. बेदी जी न केवल क्रिकेट जगत में अपने योगदान के कारण बल्कि पिच पर जादू बिखेरने वाले कुशल गेंदबाजी के उस्ताद के रूप में भी हमारी यादों में जीवित रहेंगे. दुःख की इस घड़ी में उनके परिवार के सदस्यों और उनके प्रशंसकों के प्रति मेरी हार्दिक संवेदनाएँ.
