West Bengal Election Results 2026: भारतीय जनता पार्टी (Bharatiya Janata Party) की उम्मीदवार रत्ना देबनाथ (Ratna Debnath), जो 2024 आरजी कर अस्पताल मामले की पीड़िता की मां हैं, शुरुआती रुझानों में बढ़त बनाए हुए हैं. निर्वाचन आयोग (Election Commission of India) के ताजा आंकड़ों के अनुसार दूसरे राउंड की गिनती के बाद रत्ना देबनाथ 5,067 वोटों से आगे चल रही हैं. उन्हें अब तक 13,784 वोट मिल चुके हैं, जबकि तृणमूल कांग्रेस (Trinamool Congress) के उम्मीदवार तीर्थंकर घोष (Tirthankar Ghosh) 8,717 वोटों के साथ पीछे चल रहे हैं. वहीं भारतीय कम्युनिस्ट पार्टी (मार्क्सवादी) (Communist Party of India) (Marxist) के उम्मीदवार कलतन दासगुप्ता (Kalatan Dasgupta) तीसरे स्थान पर बने हुए हैं. रत्ना देबनाथ ने अपने चुनाव प्रचार में महिलाओं की सुरक्षा और न्याय के मुद्दे को प्रमुखता से उठाया था, जिसका असर शुरुआती रुझानों में देखने को मिल रहा है. हालांकि अंतिम नतीजों के लिए अभी आगे की मतगणना का इंतजार किया जा रहा है.
