भारी बारिश के कारण वेल्लोर जिला प्रशासन ने 26 सितंबर को कक्षा 1 से 5 तक के लिए स्कूल निलंबित करने का फैसला किया है. तमिलनाडु के कई जिलों में भारी बारिश हो रही है. वेल्लोर में भारी बारिश के कारण कोनावट्टम में चेन्नई-बेंगलुरु राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर जलभराव हो गया.
