Manipur CM Not Resigning: CM बीरेन सिंह नहीं छोड़ेंगे मुख्यमंत्री पद, फटे हुए इस्तीफे पत्र की फोटो वायरल

मणिपुर में लगभग दो महीने से जातीय हिंसा से निपटने को लेकर आलोचना झेल रहे मुख्यमंत्री एन बीरेन सिंह आज इस्तीफा देने ही जा रहे थे, लेकिन जनता के दबाव में उन्होंने अपना मन बदल लिया. न्यूज एजेंसी PTI के मुताबिक, सिंह के समर्थकों ने उन्हें गवर्नर से मिलने से रोक दिया है. उनके इस्तीफे की एक तस्वीर वायरल हो रही है.

एन बीरेन सिंह ने कहा 'इस महत्वपूर्ण मोड़ पर, मैं स्पष्ट करना चाहता हूं कि मैं मुख्यमंत्री पद से इस्तीफा नहीं दूंगा.'

सैकड़ों महिलाएं बीरेन सिंह के आवास के पास इकट्ठी हुईं और मानव श्रृंखला बनाई. प्रदर्शन कर रही महिलाएं नहीं चाहती थीं कि वे इस्तीफा दें. उनके त्याग पत्र की प्रति तब फाड़ दी गई, जब दो मंत्री इसे लेकर उनके आवास से बाहर आए. इससे पहले उनके इस्तीफे की चर्चाएं गर्म थीं.
