Delhi MCD Mayor Election 2023: दिल्ली मेयर का चुनाव 22 फरवरी को होगा. दिल्ली के उपराज्यपाल वीके सक्सेना ने स्थायी समिति के मेयर, डिप्टी मेयर और छह सदस्यों के चुनाव के लिए 22 फरवरी को दिल्ली नगर निगम की स्थगित पहली बैठक बुलाने के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दे दी है.

आपको बता दें कि दिल्ली में मेयर के चुनाव को लेकर सुप्रीम कोर्ट में शुक्रवार को सुनवाई हुई थी. इस दौरान कोर्ट ने 24 घंटे के अंदर मेयर का चुनाव कराने की अधिसूचना जारी करने के आदेश दिए थे. बता दें कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट में दिल्ली नगर निगम (एमसीडी) के चुनाव के संबंध में AAP की मेयर कैंडीडेट शैली ओबेरॉय ने याचिका दायर की थी.

बीजेपी लगातार मांग कर रही थी कि चुनाव के दौरान नामित सदस्य यानी एल्डरमैन को भी वोटिंग देने का अधिकार रहे, लेकिन आम आदमी पार्टी द्वारा इसका विरोध किया जा रहा था.
