भारत की FIU ने मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग कानूनों का पालन किए बिना देश में संचालन के लिए बिनेंस सहित नौ ऑफशोर वर्चुअल डिजिटल एसेट सेवा प्रदाताओं को कारण बताओ नोटिस जारी किया है. वित्त मंत्रालय ने आईटी मंत्रालय से कंपनियों के URL ब्लॉक करने को भी कहा है. वित्त मंत्रालय ने गुरुवार देर रात कहा कि केंद्रीय सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय से उनके वेब एड्रेस ब्लॉक करने को कहा गया है. नौ वीडीए एसपी में बिनेंस, कुकोइन, हुओबी, क्रैकेन, गेट.आईओ, बिट्ट्रेक्स, बिटस्टैम्प, एमईएक्ससी ग्लोबल और बिटफिनेक्स शामिल हैं. FIU-IND एक राष्ट्रीय एजेंसी है जो प्रवर्तन एजेंसियों और विदेशी FIUs को संदिग्ध वित्तीय लेनदेन से संबंधित जानकारी प्राप्त करने, प्रसंस्करण, विश्लेषण और प्रसार करने के लिए जिम्मेदार है. एजेंसी वित्त मंत्रालय के अधीन है.
