रॉयटर्स की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक सरकार ने 22 जनवरी से सोने, चांदी और कीमती धातुओं के सिक्कों पर आयात शुल्क बढ़ाकर 15 फीसदी कर दिया है.
India Increases Import Duty On Gold-Silver: रॉयटर्स की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक सरकार ने 22 जनवरी से सोने, चांदी और कीमती धातुओं के सिक्कों पर आयात शुल्क बढ़ाकर 15 फीसदी कर दिया है. इसके अलावा, सरकार ने कीमती धातुओं वाले खर्च किए गए उत्प्रेरकों के लिए आयात शुल्क भी बढ़ा दिया है. इसमें 10% का मूल सीमा शुल्क (बीसीडी) और सामाजिक कल्याण अधिभार (एसडब्ल्यूएस) से छूट के साथ ऑल इंडस्ट्री ड्यूटी ड्रॉबैक (एआईडीसी) के तहत अतिरिक्त 5% शामिल है. 22 जनवरी, 2024 से प्रभावी होने वाले परिवर्तनों का उद्देश्य आयात को विनियमित करना और घरेलू अर्थव्यवस्था का समर्थन करना है.
