Modi Government Checkmates China: केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने बुधवार को आम बजट पेश किया. केंद्रीय बजट 2023-24 में मोदी सरकार ने चीन को बड़ा झटका दिया है. सरकार ने आम बजट में चीन से आयात होने वाले नकली आभूषण पर कस्टम ड्यूटी 20 प्रतिशत से बढ़ाकर 25 प्रतिशत कर दिया गया है. सरकार के इस फैसले से अब चीन को जो भी आभूषण भारत भेजने होगे उसे उस पर पांच प्रतिशत ज्यादा कस्टम ड्यूटी देने होंगे. हालांकि सरकार का  कस्टम ड्यूटी बढ़ाने के पीछे यह भी मकसद है कि लोग भारत में निर्मित होने वाले आभूषण को ज्यादा से ज्यादा यूज करें. ताकि देश में रोजगार बढे.
