Oath On Bhagavad Gita: बैरिस्टर वरुण घोष मंगलवार को भगवद गीता पर शपथ लेने वाले ऑस्ट्रेलियाई संसद के पहले भारत में जन्मे सदस्य बन गए. पश्चिमी ऑस्ट्रेलिया के वरुण घोष को विधान सभा के बाद नए सीनेटर के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है. विधान परिषद ने उन्हें संघीय संसद की सीनेट में ऑस्ट्रेलियाई राज्य का प्रतिनिधित्व करने के लिए चुना है. ऑस्ट्रेलियाई विदेश मंत्री पेनी वोंग ने वरुण घोष का स्वागत करते हुए कहा, "लेबर सीनेट टीम में आपका होना अद्भुत है. 1985 में जन्मे घोष 1997 में पर्थ चले गए और क्राइस्ट चर्च ग्रामर स्कूल में पढ़ाई की. घोष ने न्यूयॉर्क में एक वित्त वकील और वाशिंगटन, डीसी में विश्व बैंक के सलाहकार के रूप में काम कर चुके है. वह 2015 में ऑस्ट्रेलिया लौट आए और किंग एंड वुड मैलेसन्स के साथ काम करते हुए बैंकों, संसाधन कंपनियों और निर्माण कंपनियों के लिए कानूनी मामले संभाले.
