भूकंप को लेकर अब न्यूयॉर्क में भारतीय दूतावास ने X पर एक पोस्ट में लिखा, "न्यूयॉर्क में भारतीय दूतावास भारतीय प्रवासी के सदस्यों के संपर्क में है. अब तक किसी भी भारतीय नागरिक के हताहत होने की सूचना नहीं है."
अमेरिका में शुक्रवार को भूकंप के झटके महसूस किए गए. यूरोपीय भूमध्यसागरीय भूकंप विज्ञान केंद्र के मुताबिक, न्यूयॉर्क और न्यू जर्सी में भूकंप आया. इसका केंद्र धरती से 10 किमी (6.21 मील) नीचे था. न्यूयॉर्क और न्यू जर्सी में 5.5 तीव्रता का भूकंप आया. भूकंप को लेकर अब न्यूयॉर्क में भारतीय दूतावास ने X पर एक पोस्ट में लिखा, "न्यूयॉर्क में भारतीय दूतावास भारतीय प्रवासी के सदस्यों के संपर्क में है. अब तक किसी भी भारतीय नागरिक के हताहत होने की सूचना नहीं है. भूकंप से प्रभावित भारतीय-अमेरिकी समुदाय का कोई भी सदस्य कृपया हमें डीएम कर सकता है या madad.newyork@mea.gov.in पर संदेश लिख सकता है."
