खगोलविदों ने पृथ्वी के आकार के एक चट्टानी एक्सोप्लैनेट से रेडियो सिग्नल का पता लगाया है. ये सिग्नल लगातार आ रहे हैं. खगोलविदों ने वहां जीवन होने की भी उम्मीद जताई है, इस ग्रह का नाम YZ Ceti b है और यह पृथ्वी से लगभग 12 प्रकाश वर्ष दूरी पर है. ये एक छोटे लाल बौने तारे की परिक्रमा कर रहा है. शोध से पता चलता है कि इस चट्टानी एक्सोप्लैनेट में न केवल चुंबकीय क्षेत्र होने की संभावना है, बल्कि और भी बहुत कुछ है जिसे खोजा जा सकता है. आपको बता दें कि हमारे सौर मंडल में बृहस्पति, शनि, यूरेनस और नेप्च्यून के पास अभी भी चुंबकीय क्षेत्र हैं और पहले भी खगोलविदों को ऐसे एक्सोप्लैनेट के सबूत मिले हैं, जिनका अपना मैग्नैटिक फील्ड था.
