Roger Binny Appointed As New BCCI President: भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (BCCI) को नया अध्यक्ष मिल गया है. मंगलवार को वार्षिक आम बैठक (AGM) में भारत के पूर्व क्रिकेटर रोजर बिन्नी (Roger Binny) पूर्व कप्तान सौरव गांगुली की जगह बोर्ड का अध्यक्ष चुना गया. यह चुनाव महज औपचारिकता थी क्योंकि पहले ही उनका चुना जाना तय हो गया था.

बता दें कि रोजर बिन्नी का पूरा नाम रोजर माइकल हम्फ्री बिन्नी है. वे भारत के पहले एंग्लो क्रिकेटर थे, जिनका संबंध स्कॉटलैंड से है. रोजर बिन्नी 1983 टी20 वर्ल्ड कप जीतने वाली भारतीय टीम का हिस्सा थे. वह टूर्नामेंट में सबसे ज्यादा विकेट लेने वाले गेंदबाज भी थे.
