Suspended TN DGP Rajesh Das Sentenced: तमिलनाडु के निलंबित विशेष डीजीपी राजेश दास को बड़ा झटका लगा है. मुख्य न्यायिक मजिस्ट्रेट, विल्लुपुरम ने दो साल पहले एक महिला आईपीएस अधिकारी के यौन उत्पीड़न मामले में दोषी ठहराए जान एके बाद कोर्ट ने उन्हें तीन साल कैद की सजा सुनाई. बता दें कि अगस्त 2018 में, एक तमिलनाडु महिला पुलिस अधीक्षक ने सतर्कता और भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक निदेशालय (DVAC) में तत्कालीन संयुक्त निदेशक एस मुरुगन पर यौन उत्पीड़न का आरोप लगाया था. इसके बाद डीजीपी स्तर के अधिकारी लक्ष्मी प्रसाद के नेतृत्व में एक आंतरिक समिति का गठन किया गया था. बाद में पीडिता ने मामले के लिए हाईकोर्ट तक का दरवाजा खटखटाया था.
