Supreme Court On Demonetisation: नोटबंदी सही थी या गलत? सुप्रीम कोर्ट आज सुनाएगा अपना फैसला

8 नवंबर 2016 को हुई नोटबंदी को गलत बताने वाली याचिकाओं पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट की संविधान पीठ आज यानी 2 जनवरी को फैसला सुनाएगी. मोदी सरकार की 2016 की नोटबंदी को चुनौती देने वाली याचिकाओं पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट आज अपना फैसला सुनाएगा. याचिकाकर्ताओं ने कहा है कि सरकार ने बिना उचित प्रक्रिया का पालन किए अचानक 500 और 1000 के पुराने नोट प्रचलन से बाहर कर दिए थे.

इसके जवाब में सरकार ने कहा है कि यह टैक्स चोरी रोकने और काले धन पर लगाम लगाने के लिए लागू की गई सोची-समझी योजना थी.
