पंजाब: अमृतसर में स्वर्ण मंदिर के प्रवेश द्वार पर लोगों का एक समूह इकट्ठा होता है और खालिस्तान समर्थक नारे लगाता है. इस दौरान खालिस्तानी अलगाववादी जरनैल भिंडरावाले के पोस्टर भी लगाए गए.

38 साल पहले आज ही के दिन अमृतसर के गोल्डन टेम्पल (स्वर्ण मंदिर) को अलगाववादियों से आजाद कराने के लिए चलाया गया ऑपरेशन ब्लू स्टार खत्म हुआ था. 6 जून, 1984 को देर रात जरनैल सिंह भिंडरावाले (अलगाववादी नेता) की मौत के बाद लाश मिलने पर ऑपरेशन ब्लू स्टार खत्म कर दिया गया था. इसमें सेना के 83 जवान शहीद हुए थे. इसके अलावा 492 लोगों की मौत हुई थी.
