शक्तिकांत दास का कहना है कि भारतीय बैंकिंग प्रणाली लचीली बनी हुई है और वैश्विक घटनाओं से प्रतिकूल रूप से प्रभावित नहीं हुई है.
भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) के गवर्नर शक्तिकांत दास ने कहा कि भारत की वित्तीय प्रणाली अमेरिका और स्विट्जरलैंड में हाल के घटनाक्रमों से पूरी तरह अछूती है. शक्तिकांत दास का कहना है कि भारतीय बैंकिंग प्रणाली लचीली बनी हुई है और वैश्विक घटनाओं से प्रतिकूल रूप से प्रभावित नहीं हुई है. उन्होंने कहा कि आरबीआई भारतीय वित्तीय प्रणाली (Indian financial system) के भविष्य के प्रमाण के लिए और इसके सतत विकास के लिए समर्थन प्रदान करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है.
शक्तिकांत दास ने कहा "वैश्विक स्तर पर, अमेरिका और स्विट्जरलैंड की बैंकिंग सिस्टम में हाल में जो घटनाक्रम हुए उनसे एक बार फिर वित्तीय स्थिरता और बैंकिग क्षेत्र की स्थिरता का महत्व सामने आया है."
