गुजरात में भारतीय डाक विभाग ने समुद्र मार्ग से पार्सल और डाक पहुंचाने की तरंग मेल सेवा शुरू हो गई है.शुक्रवार को केन्द्रीय संचार राज्यमंत्री देवोसिंह चौहान ने सूरत में हाजिरा बंदरगाह से इस सेवा का शुभारंभ किया
Tarang Mail Service: गुजरात में भारतीय डाक विभाग ने समुद्र मार्ग से पार्सल और डाक पहुंचाने की तरंग मेल सेवा शुरू हो गई है.शुक्रवार को केन्द्रीय संचार राज्यमंत्री देवोसिंह चौहान (Devusinh Chauhan) ने सूरत में हाजिरा बंदरगाह से इस सेवा का शुभारंभ किया. इस अवसर पर श्री चौहान ने कहा कि देश में जलमार्ग परिवहन को प्रोत्साहन देने की प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी की दृष्टि के अनुसार यह सेवा शुरू की गई है. उन्होंने कहा कि पहले डाक पहुंचाने में 10-12 घंटे लगते थे। इस सेवा के शुरू होने से डाक तीन-चार घंटे में ही पहुंच जायेगी.
