Blast at Tata Steel's Meramandali Plant: ओडिशा में टाटा स्टील के मेरामंडली प्लांट में गैस रिसाव के बाद ब्लास्ट हुआ है. ब्लास्ट में 19 लोग घायल हुए हैं. जिनकी हालत गंभीर हैं. जिन्हें इलाज के लिए कटक के एक प्राइवेट अस्पताल में भर्ती करवाया गया है. जहां पर लोगों का इलाज चल रहा है. शुरुआती रिपोर्टों के मुताबिक, कुछ गैस रिसाव के चलते स्टीम पाइप फट गया और तेज विस्फोट हुआ, जिसके चलते यह हादसा हुआ. टाटा स्टील का यह प्लांट ढेंकनाल के मेरामंडली इलाके में स्थित है। इस प्लांट में हॉट-रोल्ड स्टील का उत्पादन किया जाता है.
