Amphetamine Recovered at Chennai Airport: चेन्नई एयरपोर्ट पर कस्टम विभाग ने 3 करोड़ की ड्रग्स पकड़ी है. जांच एजेंसी ने ड्रग्स को लेकर जा रहे एक तस्कर को भी धर-दबोचा. आरोपी ट्रॉली बैग के तली में नकली पॉकेट बनाकर ड्रग्स छिपाकर लाया था. घटना 12 फरवरी की है. आरोपी अदीस अबाबा के रास्ते गिनी से आया था. वह फ्लाइट संख्या ET934/ET692 से चेन्नई एयरपोर्ट पर उतरा. यहां पूर्व सूचना के आधार पर कस्टम विभाग की टीम ने उसके सामान की जांच की. जांच के दौरान ट्रॉली बैग का वजन देखकर अधिकारियों कोशक हुआ, जिसके बाद बैद को चाकू से फाड़ कर देखा गया.
अधिकारियों ने कहा कि "चेन्नई हवाई अड्डे पर सीमा शुल्क अधिकारियों ने एक व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार किया जो कथित रूप से 3 करोड़ रुपये मूल्य के 1,539 ग्राम एम्फेटामाइन की तस्करी करने की कोशिश कर रहा था.
