महाराष्ट्र कैबिनेट में विभागों को बंटावारा आखिरकार शुक्रवार को हो गया. डिप्टी सीएम बने एनसीपी नेता अजित पवार को वित्त मंत्रालय की जिम्मेदारी मिली है. विभागों की घोषणा के बाद, अजित पवार ने वित्त और योजना मंत्रालय का प्रभार संभाल लिया है. वे राज्य वित्त का जायजा लेते दिखे.

विभागों के बंटवारे में एनसीपी के कोटे में सात महत्वपूर्ण मंत्रालय आए हैं जिनमें वो वित्त मंत्रालय भी शामिल है. इसके अलावा एनसीपी को योजना,खाद्य और नागरिक आपूर्ति, सहकारी समितियां, महिला और बाल विकास, कृषि, राहत और पुनर्वास, चिकित्सा शिक्षा मंत्रालय भी मिले.
