हिमाचल प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट ने कहा कि समाज का एक बड़ा तबका महिलाओं को निम्न दर्जे का नागरिक मानता है, जिन्हें अपने दम पर फैसले लेने का अधिकार नहीं है. HC ने कहा कि महिलाओं को अपनी पसंद से जीवनसाथी चुनने का हक भी नहीं है.
हिमाचल प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट (Himachal Pradesh High Court) ने कहा कि समाज का एक बड़ा तबका महिलाओं को निम्न दर्जे का नागरिक मानता है, जिन्हें अपने दम पर फैसले लेने का अधिकार नहीं है. HC ने कहा कि महिलाओं को अपनी पसंद से जीवनसाथी चुनने का हक भी नहीं है. Delhi HC ने सहमती से संबंध बनाए जाने के बावजूद व्यक्ति पर POCSO एक्ट के तहत आरोप तय किए, कही ये बात.
हाई कोर्ट ने कहा कि स्थानीय स्वयं निकाय की सदस्य/पदाधिकारी के रूप में निर्वाचित महिला उम्मीदवारों के बजाय उनके पति द्वारा शपथ ली जाती है. इसी संबंध में हाई कोर्ट ने कहा कि महिलाओं को अपने लिए भी फैसले लेने की अनुमति समाज नहीं देता है.
