यूक्रेनी अधिकारियों ने गुरुवार को कहा कि रूस ने यूक्रेन के बंदरगाह शहर इज़मेल पर पांच दिनों में चौथी बार हमला किया. रूस लगातार यूक्रेन की अनाज निर्यात करने की क्षमता को टारगेट कर रहा है. ओडेसा क्षेत्र के गवर्नर ओलेह किपर ने कहा कि डेन्यूब नदी बंदरगाह क्षेत्र पर नागरिक और बंदरगाह बुनियादी ढांचे को निशाना बनाकर शहीद ड्रोन से हमला किया गया.

यूक्रेनी सेना ने कहा कि उसने रात भर में रूस द्वारा लॉन्च किए गए 33 ड्रोनों में से 25 को मार गिराया, उनमें से अधिकांश ओडेसा क्षेत्र, यूक्रेन के कृषि निर्यात केंद्र, साथ ही उत्तरी सुमी क्षेत्र में थे. रूस ने जुलाई के मध्य से यूक्रेन के अनाज निर्यात बुनियादी ढांचे पर हमले बढ़ा दिए हैं.
