Gambia में 66 बच्चों की मौत के बाद WHO की चेतावनी, भारत में बनी 4 कफ सिरप के खिलाफ अलर्ट जारी

गाम्बिया में 66 बच्चों की मौत के बाद विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (WHO) ने भारत में बनी 4 कफ सिरप के खिलाफ अलर्ट जारी किया. WHO ने अपने बयान में कहा कि इसमें ऐसे रसायन पाए गए हैं, जो जहरीले और संभावित रूप से घातक हैं. वहीं आगे डब्ल्यूएचओ ने अपने बयान में कहा, 'गाम्बिया में पहचानी गई चार दूषित दवाओं के लिए एक चिकित्सा उत्पाद अलर्ट जारी किया है, जो संभावित रूप से गुर्दे की गंभीर चोटों और 66 बच्चों की मौतों से जुड़ी हुई हैं. अलर्ट  जारी होने के बाद डब्ल्यूएचओ अब इस कंपनी और भारतीय अधिकारियों के साथ मिलकर इस घटना की जांच करेगा. डब्ल्यूएचओ ने कहा कि फिलहाल इस दूषित दवा की पहचान केवल गाम्बिया में ही हुई है.
