वॉलमार्ट के वित्तीय अधिकारी ने एक निवेशक सम्मेलन में कहा कि भारत में फ्लिपकार्ट और फोन पे का कारोबार 100 बिलियन डॉलर (8,19,750 करोड़ रुपये) का हो सकता है. दोनों कंपनियों से उम्मीद की जी रही है कि अगले 5 साल में विदेशी बाजार में इनके माल की मात्रा दो गुना होगी. कंपनी 200 बिलियन डॉलर (लगभग 16,20,800 करोड़ रुपये) तक का माल बेच सकती है.

वॉलमार्ट ने 30 अप्रैल को समाप्त अपनी तिमाही में कहा कि फ्लिपकार्ट के बिजनेस में वृद्धि देखने को मिली है. कुछ शहरों में नए खरीदारों द्वारा बढ़ावा दिया गया. इसी के साथ विज्ञापन बिक्री में 50 प्रतिशत की बढ़ोत्तरी हुई.
