मुंबई के वर्ली इलाके के तीन से चार हजार शिवसैनिक दशहरा रैली के पहले एकनाथ शिंदे को अपना समर्थन देते हुए शिंदे गुट में शामिल हो गए हैं. वर्ली शिवसेना का गढ़ माना जाता है और यहीं से ठाकरे घराने से आदित्य ठाकरे पहले ऐसे व्यक्ति हैं जिन्होंने चुनाव लड़ा था.

वर्ली में अब तक एकनाथ शिंदे गुट की ताकत ना के बराबर थी, लेकिन इन लोगों के शिंदे गुट में शामिल होने से उद्धव ठाकरे गुट और आदित्य ठाकरे के गढ़ वर्ली मे सेंध लगने की पूरी संभावना है. यह तमाम लोग मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे के सरकारी आवास पर एकनाथ शिंदे गुट में शामिल होने के लिए पहुंचे हैं.
