पाकिस्तान उच्चायोग ने सद्भावना के तौर पर कई भारतीय सांसदों को आम की टोकरियां भेजी हैं. रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, पाक उच्चायोग से आम प्राप्त करने वालों में विपक्ष के नेता राहुल गांधी, कांग्रेस सांसद शशि थरूर, समाजवादी पार्टी के सांसद मोहिबुल्लाह नदवी, जिया उर रहमान बर्क, अफज़ल अंसारी, इकरा चौधरी और कपिल सिब्बल शामिल हैं.
Pakistan Sent Mangoes to Indian MPs: पाकिस्तान उच्चायोग ने सद्भावना के तौर पर कई भारतीय सांसदों को आम की टोकरियां भेजी हैं. रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, पाक उच्चायोग से आम प्राप्त करने वालों में विपक्ष के नेता राहुल गांधी, कांग्रेस सांसद शशि थरूर, समाजवादी पार्टी के सांसद मोहिबुल्लाह नदवी, जिया उर रहमान बर्क, अफज़ल अंसारी, इकरा चौधरी और कपिल सिब्बल शामिल हैं. हालांकि,पाकिस्तान द्वारा गिफ्ट में आम भेजना कोई नई बात नहीं है. इससे पहले 1981 में, पाकिस्तानी राष्ट्रपति जिया उल हक ने तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी को 'अनवर रटौल' आमों की एक टोकरी भेजी थी. वहीं, 2015 में ईद के दौरान, तत्कालीन पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री नवाज शरीफ ने भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी, राष्ट्रपति प्रणब मुखर्जी, पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह और पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी सहित अन्य प्रमुख नेताओं को 10 किलो आम भेजे थे.
