6 दिसंबर 1956 को बाबासाहेब अंबेडकर का देहावसान हुआ था. संविधान निर्माता डॉ. भीमराव रामजी आंबेडकर बड़े समाज सुधारक और विद्वान थे. उन्होंने अपना पूरा जीवन जातिवाद को खत्म करने और गरीब, दलितों, पिछड़े वर्गों के उत्थान के लिए अर्पित किया. इसलिए आज के दिन उनकी पुण्यतिथि को देश भर में महापरिनिर्वाण दिवस ( Mahaparinirvan Diwas 2022 ) के तौर पर मनाया जाता है.
