आंध्र प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट ने सात साल के ऊपर के बच्चे की कस्टडी को लेकर अहमद फैसला सुनाया है. कोर्ट द्वारा सुनाये गए फैसले में सात साल के ऊपर बच्चे पर मां का अधिकारी तो है ही. लेकिन कोर्ट ने कहा कि बच्चे पर पिता का भी अधिकारी है.

HC on Muslim Right To Custody Of Child: आंध्र प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट ने सात साल के ऊपर के बच्चे की कस्टडी को लेकर अहमद फैसला सुनाया है. कोर्ट द्वारा सुनाये गए फैसले में सात साल के ऊपर बच्चे पर मां का अधिकारी तो है ही. लेकिन कोर्ट ने कहा कि बच्चे पर पिता का भी अधिकारी है. पिता चाहे तो वह भी बच्चे को अपने पास रख सकता है. दरअसल अदालत ने 2022 में एक मुस्लिम पिता के ख़िलाफ़ बच्चे की कस्टडी को लेकर केस दर्ज हुआ था. सुनवाई के बाद कोर्ट ने व्यक्ति के खिलाफ केस को ख़ारिज कर दिया है. दर्ज की गई उस प्राथमिकी को रद्द कर दिया, जिसमें कथित तौर पर अपने 8 और 10 साल के बेटों को उनकी मां की कस्टडी से अगवा कर लिया था.
