SC On Sexual Desire Advice Of HC: सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कलकत्ता हाईकोर्ट के एक बयान पर नाराजगी हाजिर की है. अक्टूबर में महिलाओं को लेकर कलकत्ता हाईकोर्ट (Calcutta High Court) ने एक फैसला सुनाया था. इस फैसले में हाईकोर्ट ने कहा कि 'लड़कियों को सेक्स की इच्छा पर नियंत्रण रखना चाहिए'. देश की शीर्ष अदालत ने हाईकोर्ट के इस फैसले पर अपनी प्रतिक्रिया दी है.
हाईकोर्ट के फैसले पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट (Supreme Court) ने कहा है कि अदालतों को किसी मामले में फैसला देते हुए. हमेशा अपने पर्सनल ओपिनियन और उपदेश देने से बचना चाहिए. शीर्ष अदालत ने कहा कि कलकत्ता हाईकोर्ट का यह बयान आपत्तिजनक है. साथ ही यह बेहद गैर जरूरी भी है जिसकी कोई आवश्यकता नहीं थी. इस तरह का बयान आर्टिकल 21 का उल्लंघन करता है, जो मूल अधिकारों का हनन है. आर्टिकल 21 व्यक्ति को जीवन जीने का अधिकार और व्यक्तिगत स्वतंत्रता का अधिकार देता है.
The Supreme Court has taken suo motu cognizance of a Calcutta High Court judgment which observed, "every female adolescent should control sexual urge as in the eyes of the society she will be the looser when she gives in to enjoy the sexual pleasure of hardly two minutes."
