Manipur Earthquake: भूकंप के तेज झटकों से थर्राया मणिपुर, रिक्टर स्केल पर 4.0 रही तीव्रता
भूकंप मणिपुर के कई अन्य हिस्सों के साथ-साथ पड़ोसी राज्यों नागालैंड, असम और मिजोरम में भी महसूस किया गया.
Earthquake: भारत के मणिपुर में शनिवार, 9 अगस्त को दोपहपर 1:23 बजे 4.0 तीव्रता का भूकंप आया. भूकंप का केंद्र 61 किलोमीटर की गहराई पर था. भूकंप मणिपुर के कई अन्य हिस्सों के साथ-साथ पड़ोसी राज्यों नागालैंड, असम और मिजोरम में भी महसूस किया गया.
मणिपुर भूकंपीय रूप से सक्रिय क्षेत्र में स्थित है, और इसने पहले भी कई भूकंपों का अनुभव किया है. मणिपुर में सबसे हालिया बड़ा भूकंप 4 जनवरी 2016 को आया, जिसकी तीव्रता 6.7 थी. उस भूकंप से काफी क्षति हुई और जानमाल का नुकसान हुआ.
