बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट ने मुंबई-अहमदाबाद बुलेट ट्रेन प्रोजेक्ट को हरी झंडी दिखा दी है. कोर्ट ने भूमि अधिग्रहण को चुनौती देने वाली गोदरेज एंड बॉयस द्वारा दायर याचिका को खारिज करते हुए कहा कि यह एक ड्रीम प्रोजेक्ट है और देश को इसकी जरूरत है.
बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट ने मुंबई-अहमदाबाद बुलेट ट्रेन प्रोजेक्ट को हरी झंडी दिखा दी है. कोर्ट ने भूमि अधिग्रहण को चुनौती देने वाली गोदरेज एंड बॉयस द्वारा दायर याचिका को खारिज करते हुए कहा कि यह एक ड्रीम प्रोजेक्ट है और देश को इसकी जरूरत है. बेंच ने कहा, "परियोजना राष्ट्रीय महत्व और जनहित की है. किसी हस्तक्षेप की आवश्यकता नहीं है. ये सामूहिक हित में है, जोकि सर्वोपरि है. ये परियोजना अपनी तरह की पहली होगी."
बता दें कि मुंबई-अहमदाबाद बुलेट ट्रेन परियोजना के लिए विक्रोली प्लॉट के अधिग्रहण के खिलाफ गोदरेज एंड बॉयस मैन्युफैक्चरिंग लिमिटेड ने यह याचिका दायर की थी.
