Lateral Entry in Civil Services: केंद्र ने लेटरल एंट्री विज्ञापन को रद्द करने के लिए UPSC को लिखा लेटर, कहा- तत्काल रोक लगाई जाए
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के निर्देश पर कार्मिक एवं प्रशिक्षण मंत्री डा. जितेन्द्र सिंह ने लेटरल एंट्री विज्ञापन रद्द करने के लिए यूपीएससी की अध्यक्ष प्रीति सूदन को एक पत्र लिखा है.
Lateral Entry in Civil Services: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के निर्देश पर कार्मिक एवं प्रशिक्षण मंत्री डा. जितेन्द्र सिंह ने लेटरल एंट्री विज्ञापन रद्द करने के लिए यूपीएससी की अध्यक्ष प्रीति सूदन को एक पत्र लिखा है. इसमें उन्होंने कहा कि सैद्धांतिक रूप में लेटरल एंट्री का समर्थन द्वितीय प्रशासनिक सुधार आयोग द्वारा किया गया था, जिसका गठन 2005 में वीरप्पा मोइली की अध्यक्षता में किया गया था. 2013 में छठे वेतन आयोग की सिफारिशें भी इसी दिशा में थीं. हालांकि, उससे पहले और बाद में भी लेटरल के कई हाई-प्रोफाइल मामले सामने आए हैं. पिछली सरकारों ने भी विभिन्न मंत्रालयों में सचिव और यूआईडीएआई के चीफ जैसे महत्वपूर्ण पदों पर आरक्षण की किसी भी प्रक्रिया का पालन किए बिना लेटरल एंट्री के आधार पर नियुक्ति की थी.
