दुनियाभर में चल रहे छंटनी के दौर के बीच Apple ने कुछ और कड़े कदम उठाए हैं. Apple मंदी की आशंकाओं के कारण घटती मांगो के बीच अपनी परिचालन लागत में कटौती करने जा रहा है. iPhone निर्माता कुछ कॉर्पोरेट डिवीजनों के लिए बोनस में देरी कर रही है और लागत में कटौती के प्रयास का विस्तार भी किया जा रहा है. रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, इस बदलाव से एप्पल के कॉरपोरेट वर्कफोर्स को बोनस नहीं मिल पाएगा. साथ ही, कंपनी अधिक नौकरियों के लिए भर्ती को सीमित कर रही है और कर्मचारियों की छंटनी के बाद कई पदों को खाली ही छोड़ रही है.
